Our Reformation Timeline: a very useful resource

Deputation Speakers promote the purchase of the Society’s publications during the course of their meetings, and during 2017 a great interest has been shown in the new colourful and attractively produced Reformation Timeline, designed by a Christian artist from the north of England. Many of the Society’s supporters have recognised the potential of the timeline for conveying key Reformation events to a younger generation in church schools and young people’s groups, as well in homeschool settings.

Recently one of the Society’s Deputation Speakers gave a timeline to a school in London where he had been speaking and presenting Bibles. On another occasion he was surprised to find interest shown in this timeline by Romanians working at his local hand car wash.

Astonishingly, some professed UK church leaders have apologised for the Reformation. It is our prayerful desire that this year, through the Society’s publications and also material from other sound publishers, many people will be accurately informed of God’s wonderful spiritual intervention in European history five hundred years ago. ‘Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following’ (Psalm 48.13).
