Spanish Bible Project

More than 25,000 copies of the Society’s revised Spanish New Testament have been distributed since the official launch in Madrid in April 2016. Many of these have been distributed in Latin America, where they have been received with enormous enthusiasm by our faithful supporters as well as by many new contacts.

In recent weeks we completely exhausted our stocks of Spanish New Testaments, and wondered how we would manage to print some more. However, the Lord knew our need and in the past week we have received sufficient designated funds for a new printing. This time we plan to publish the New Testament together with Psalms and Proverbs, as the text of these two books is now ready for publication.

Work continues on the revision of the remaining Old Testament books. Currently the Spanish Executive Revision Committee is nearing the conclusion of its final revision of the Old Testament Poetic Books, and has carried out considerable work in the Pentateuch. Please remember the team in your prayers, also giving thanks with us that, God willing, we shall soon be able to print further copies of the New Testament. ‘And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear’ (Isaiah 65.24).
