Scripture Colouring Books

In the Psalmist’s famous exultation of the beauties and benefits of Scripture, he writes ‘Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee’ Psalm 119.11. Here he shows Scripture memory to be a way of guarding against sin. One way to begin engaging in this worthwhile discipline is to use the colouring books published by TBS. Our range of colouring books consists of twenty-two books across three series.

Series 1
The first series contains twelve books based around Scripture themes such as Bible Praises and Bible Truths and has well-known passages from Psalm 23 and The Beatitudes. Also included is the Books of the Bible. Shop Series 1

Series 2
In series 2, six books cover themes such as The Fear of the LORD, Seek the LORD, and The Lord our God. Each page has a Scripture verse to colour accompanied by a longer passage that includes the verse, making it slightly more challenging. Shop Series 2

Series 3
Our most recent series, Series 3, comprises four books aimed at children of all ages. Illustrations are designed to connect with the colouring text thereby aiding comprehension. The verses are also accompanied by a longer passage of Scripture. Shop Series 3

All colouring books would be useful within the setting of the home, for use in Sunday school, as prizegiving gifts, and in children’s outreach. Although the books are aimed at children, they will be enjoyed by all ages; we have even heard of people in prisons using them!
