German Bible

Luther’s translation of the Scriptures into German from the original Hebrew and Greek is one of the many important Reformation-era translations. Luther revised the German Bible several times during his life and it was subsequently revised several times thereafter to improve accuracy. The Society now publishes the Standard German Bible, based on the 1912-1998 Luther Bible with minor changes to improve accuracy. It is presented in a durable and inexpensive black vinyl covered hardback.
