Nepali Bible
09 August 2022
The Society’s Nepali Bible, first published in 2011, has become established as a standard edition among Nepali speakers across the world. The lightly revised second edition was published earlier this year, with an initial print run of 17,000 copies, which
are currently being distributed in both Nepal and India. We were delighted to learn that 20 copies of the New Testament (first edition) in Braille have also been published in recent months; each copy of the New Testament comprises thirteen separate Braille
books! Work continues to make the second edition text available on the Society’s online Bible and on the Nepali Bible Android App. Permission to use an audio recording of the entire Nepali Bible has been granted to several other organisations, meaning
that thousands of audio Scriptures will be distributed among Nepali speakers in the coming months.
