Modern Hebrew New Testament Revision

The Society continues to revise the
Delitzsch Hebrew New Testament
(DHNT) so that it is more faithful to
the Greek Received Text, and in a more
understandable form of modern Hebrew.
The team have now almost completed
all the New Testament books and are
reviewing Revelation. Work is ongoing
on the final book: Acts. God willing, the
revision of the whole New Testament
will be completed by June 2023.
Several readers are giving feedback on
the draft books, which is very helpful in
gauging the acceptability and readability
of the text. We acknowledge the
generous financial support for the
DHNT revision project received over
many years from the Finnish Bible
Institute and from the Free Presbyterian
Church of Scotland, as well as that from
three Dutch organisations—GBS,
da Costa Foundation, and the Board
for Israel.
