Distributing Calendars in Nigeria
12 June 2023

There are over 230 million people in Nigeria divided into some 250 different ethnic groups and 500 languages—with the official language being English. About half of Nigerians identify as Christian and the other half as Muslim; a very small minority hold
to tribal African religions. Overall, Nigeria is not wealthy as over 40% of Nigerians live in poverty.
A recent grant of Golden Thoughts calendars in various languages was sent to this vast land. While the bulk of calendars were English, there were also Afrikaans, French, Ndebele, Hausa, Shona, and Spanish calendars included in the packet.
Please pray for those who distribute the Scriptures and for those who receive them. ‘It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life’ (John 6.63).
