Distributing Articles

21 November 2023

Kenya is one of the many countries that the Society sends Scriptures to. While we focus on sending Scriptures, at times grantees are interested in our articles which speak about subjects such as the underlying texts of the Bible, doctrinal verses, and the translation of particular Bible passages.

A recent grantee in Kenya received three sets of our printed articles, of which he gave one set to his church, another to a Bible study acquaintance, and the remaining set was distributed amongst friends.

Kenya, situated on the eastern coast of Africa is renowned for its stunning landscapes. It is home to the savannahs of the Maasai Mara, where an array of wildlife roam freely. Beyond its natural wonders, Kenya has over forty ethnic groups, each contributing to the nation's various languages. Kenya's economy has experienced growth in recent years and the country boasts a mixed economic system with agriculture, services, and industry playing pivotal roles. Despite these positive developments, challenges such as unemployment, inequality, and occasional security concerns persist. But above all, the need for faithful copies of the Bible—of which many cannot afford—is needed.

Please pray for all of the Society’s distribution efforts in Kenya and around the world. ‘So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it’ (Isaiah 55.11).
