Spreading God’s Word in Malawi

At the beginning of the Society’s ministry the work mainly involved Bible distribution. By the end of 1832 the Society had distributed a total of 4,283 Bibles and New Testaments. Today the Society, with joy, annually sends tens of thousands of Bibles, New Testaments, Gospels, and Scripture items to grantees around the world.

Malawi is a frequent recipient of English Bibles and Chichewa New Testaments. In the last quarter of 2023 we received several updates from one of our grantees who received 200 English Classic Reference Bibles and 400 New Testaments.

The grantee expressed his thanks with the following acknowledgement:

‘Thank you so much for the Bibles you blessed us with, we were able to take some to remote areas of Malawi where people cannot afford to buy a Bibles and with these Bibles now they have the Word of God in their hands and be able to share the Good News of our Lord King Jesus Christ.’
