Scripture Distribution in Kenya
20 February 2024

While there are sixty-two languages spoken in Kenya, English is one of the two official languages (the other being Swahili). Situated on the east coast of Africa, Kenya is surrounded by South Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Eighty-three per cent of Kenyans identify as Christian, with over fifty per cent of them claiming to be Protestant with other groups identifying as Roman Catholic or Evangelical. Kenya also has the largest population of Quakers in the world. The remainder
of the population is Muslim, Hindu, or non-religious.
We were pleased to receive these photos that the grantee in Kenya sent to us upon receiving and distributing over 1,000 Bibles in his local area. Please remember the distribution of God’s Holy Word in your prayers.
