New Displays of Bus Shelter Posters

21 January 2025

The Society began displaying posters in bus shelters a few years ago. These large posters with bold, clear text are eye-catching and easy to read from afar. The short verses, or part of a verse, allow the reader to absorb it in just a moment. Whether just walking by, in bus shelters, or viewing from a vehicle, we are thankful to God for the privilege of displaying His Holy Word to thousands of commuters in London and throughout Britain.

A TBS staff member recently saw one of these posters, and commented,

While I was there, I saw people interacting with the poster. There was an adult lady in a pink hoodie who was just in front of the poster staring at it for a long while. There were others who would stop to read it while waiting for the bus.

‘And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved’ (Acts 2.21).

Please pray for these campaigns:

  • For people to stop, read, and consider these portions of Scripture.
  • For no hindrances to arise in the process of displaying the text, or vandalism thereafter.
  • For more posters to be displayed next year.
