Armenian Bibles: The Word of God Among All Nations

One way the Society encourages the distribution of Scriptures is through licensing. Whether for a digital platform or printed copies, there are organisations desiring to publish the Society’s Scriptures. These organsiations often have different contacts and distribution channels than the Society has. Earlier this year, one such organisation published 10,000 copies of our Armenian Bible. We received the following letter from the licensee:

First of all I would like to thank you for giving us the copyright permission to have the 10,000 Bibles printed in the Armenian language. [There is a pastor who] knew more about the need for Bibles among the Armenian people than we did, so we told him he could send the Bibles where they were needed the most, as long as the Bibles were given out as a gift with no charge.

So thanks again for giving us permission to print the Bibles and distribute them to so many people. If all goes as planned, we may be contacting you again in the near future about allowing us to do another printing of the Bibles as the requests for them keep coming.
