A Hunger for Scriptures in Latvia

It has been a great privilege to share the Word of God with many people here in Latvia through Bibles sent from TBS. The hunger for the Scriptures, especially for the Authorised (King James) Version and Russian Bibles, has been remarkable. Many individuals and families have expressed deep gratitude for receiving a copy of God’s Word, which is often difficult or impossible to obtain locally. The following report gives a brief account of the distribution work and the encouraging responses from those who received the Bibles. Please continue to pray for the widespread distribution of God’s Word.

I told some people in advance that I am going to receive Bibles from TBS for the distribution and got a big interest for the KJV Bibles and Russian Bibles. People have not possibility in Latvia to get KJV Bibles. The first 15 KJV Bibles I gave to African people who came here to live. I went to a camp where people from Ukraine worked and gave Bibles there. People were very happy to receive Bibles in their own language. I met Russian people and gave Bibles to them also. They were very happy and asked for more to their relatives. After one service I told to young people that I have English Bibles and they can get a copy. They were very excited. It is very good that Hampton Bible has the explanations of more ancient words. However older people were asking for AV Bibles in a larger font if possible. Here are a lot of people from India now. I gave to Indian people Bibles also.

If possible please send more KJV and Russian Bibles. Also if possible in larger font for elderly people. Thank you for helping me distribute Bibles from the Received Text in these unstable times. I pray that people who received Bibles would read and know Jesus as their personal Saviour.
