Five Questions about the Authorised (King James) Version

Faithful Scripture work is guided by the availability of qualified men, and the Society holds the view that the Authorised (King James) Version does not need textual revision as it already closely reflects the Hebrew Masoretic and Greek Received Texts. Attempts to update or lightly revise the AV face serious difficulties, including differing forms of English, limited suitable scholars, textual concerns, and the risk of creating further division among believers and churches.
