Here are some extracts from an email we recently received from a lady in Canada, who had an opportunity to distribute the Word of God to someone travelling through the country on holiday:
“One day when I was in the city, the Lord led me to meet a gentleman who was sitting in his rental car that was situated in a hotel parking lot. The gentleman told me that he and his wife were touring by car across Canada. When I asked him where he was from, he said that he was from England and then he told me a little bit about himself. I replied by saying that what he said was all very interesting, for indeed it was, and that it was all very coincidental. I said that over recent months, I had been listening to some sermons preached from a church in North Wales. The gentleman said that he and his wife lived not too far from there. I suggested that he stop by the church and visit sometimes.
…somehow we got onto the topic of the Canadian dollar and the British currency. The gentleman reached into his pocket and retrieved a British pound. He showed it to me and then he gave it to me as a keepsake. Surprised, I smiled and said, "Thank you!" I quickly turned around and reached into my van, and retrieved an English Paragraph Edition of the New Testament, King James Version, hot off the presses, from TBS London, and gave it to him as a gift in return. I said, “God knows my path and yours.” He looked at me for a moment, and then he looked at the New Testament, and then he tucked the New Testament into the side pocket of the door of his rental car. He appeared to be readying himself for driving, so I wished him well on his holiday vacation and tour across Canada with his wife… Only God could orchestrate such a meeting. God cares for souls and he goes above and beyond to get our attention and demonstrate the great love that he has for us.”
We pray that the Lord would bless His Word, that it would not return unto Him void.
