Understanding the Authorised Version
18 November 2019
Some people criticise the Authorised (King James) Version of the Bible, saying that the young people of today do not understand it. However, one of our Deputation Speakers was greatly encouraged when he spoke at a recent meeting to seventy-five young people, all of whom did understand it!
At a recent youth meeting, the Deputation Speaker was also greatly encouraged by the interest of young people in the work of the Society and, in particular, their faithfulness to the Received Text and Authorised Version. Several young people even asked for copies of ‘Which Bible Version?’ by the Rev. David Blunt to share with their friends at school and university. This article can be read here.
Please pray that young people would hold fast to the Authorised Version, and that the Lord would bless His Word to their souls.
