Bemba Gospel according to John
22 June 2022

Bemba is one of the most spoken Bantu languages in Zambia with around 4.1 million native speakers. The Society and the Free Grace Evangelistic Association (FGEA) partnered to prepare a faithful new edition of the Bemba New Testament with primary reference
to a Received Text interlinear New Testament and the Authorised (King James) Version and then secondarily to older editions of the Bemba Bible.
With much thankfulness to the Lord, the Bemba Gospel according to John has been published and is now being distributed in Zambia.
The following message was from a grantee who received 200 copies of the Bemba Gospel according to John:
A pastor of a church, in a poor part of a city suburb in Zambia was really pleased with the Bemba version of John’s Gospel. He says there are a few that can’t read English well, and will understand this better.
