Bibles for Kenya

The Society has for many years given grants to recipients in Kenya for the distribution of Bibles and other Scripture items. The following portion is part of a letter we received from a recent grantee. Please remember the distribution efforts in Kenya and around the world in your prayers.

It is with great joy that I receive such good news from you. I really thank the Lord for showing me mercy by making my grant application for Bibles successful. Many of the people that I disciple have been yearning to get their own individual copy. I will be eagerly waiting for feedback regarding when the Bibles will be shipped to Kenya. I am also convinced that many people should know why the version of the Bible matters in relation to the manuscripts used in translation, and the mode of translation ... By God's Grace, I know that we will benefit a lot when our confidence in God's Holy Word is strengthened and reaffirmed because nowadays, people are taught to doubt God's Word by "learned scholars." I would love to know more about the Scriptures, regarding its inerrancy, preservation, its sufficiency, and authority as God's Perfect Holy Word.
