‘All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works’ (2 Timothy 3.16,17).

In 1 and 2 Timothy we read of Paul exhorting Timothy to be strong in the Lord, to remain unashamed and steadfast in the faith, and to have full confidence in the Word of God.
