Protestant Reformation Principles of Bible Translation

‘With the glorious Reformation the Word of God came into the hands of multitudes and a great light dawned upon them through the reading and preaching of the Word. The Bibles of the Reformation era dispelled the darkness and brought spiritual life and liberty. The common people had the Word of God in their hands, and by an infallible standard could now examine the religion they had been taught’.
