Malawi: 850 More Bibles and New Testaments Reach Grateful Hands

Through a series of well-attended conferences organised by a TBS grantee in Malawi, the Word of God was distributed to many eager recipients. In total, 697 Bibles and 163 New Testaments were given out, together with a large quantity of TBS articles designed to strengthen understanding of the Scriptures. The meetings, held in Northern Malawi, were conducted under the theme ‘The Unchangeable Word of God’, emphasising the enduring authority and reliability of the Bible in every generation.

Most of the Bible teaching during these gatherings was drawn from the Society’s helpful articles The Lord Gave the Word and Which Bible Version?, both of which explore how God has preserved His Word and why faithful translation is essential.

‘But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you’ (1 Peter 1.25).
